Film Acting Instructor

The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA)

Teach all levels of acting techniques with a major focus on acting for the camera.  courses include; scene study, monologues, auditioning, Shakespeare, as well as working with different genres on camera, including; steadicam technique, green screen, and various multicamera syles of acting.

Also direct and produce short films, scene projects, and music videos for various student projects throughout the year.

Teach workshops and coach privately all over the country.  Workshops include lectures on:  Film, TV, Commercial acting, and transitioning from the stage to the screen.

Also, teach workshops to teachers on techniques to teach on camera acting at the university level.

Associate's of Arts Degree in Theatre with an emphasis on acting.  Also was a teaching assistant in my 2nd year for the drama program.

Received a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of South Carolina, and did a one year internship at the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D. C., where I recieved the Paul Shinkman Scholarship for outstanding student actor.  I continued on at the Shakespeare Theatre as a company member.
