I started Breakfast with Fashion in 2010 as a hobby. To my surprise, it has grown to have a readership and a loyal following. Because of its success, I have partnered with many fashion and style brands/companies.
In 2009, I started with CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru. From there I moved on to editing, and ultimately becoming the managing interning editor.
While interning as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, I interviewed local/northwest designers as part of our coverage of the 2009 Portland Fashion Week.
This was a supplement to the online story entitled "Braving the Bar." I copy edited this supplement, as well as helped in copy editing the story that it accompanied.
In 2011, I was recruited to write about Eugene Fashion Week for Breakfast with Fashion, as well as Flux Magazine's online blog. I covered the first couple of days of Eugene Fashion Week.
After being interviewed by Ethos magazine about my internship with CollegeFashionista, I was recruited to write a couple online pieces for the web content of Ethos.
