  • Created and maintained various websites with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3/CS4 using standard HTML and CSS to facilitate distance learning courses.
  • Created various imagery and marketing material for recruitment of students through print and web publications with Adobe Photoshop CS3/CS4, Adobe Illustrator CS3/CS4, Adobe InDesign CS3/CS4, and Adobe Acrobat Professional 8/9.
  • Redesigned visual style of homepage to more modern CSS/Web 2.0 visual style.
  • Served on the Marketing Committee to help influence the marketing and recruitment of students through effective and modern design design.

The Hazard Herald
  • Created artwork for advertisements published in The Hazard Herald newspaper using Adobe Photoshop CS & CS2 and Illustrator CS2. Compiled articles and information to be published in The Hazard Herald newspaper using Quark XPress 6.1, 6.5, & 7.1. Transferred the newspaper to our printer using Quark XPress v6.5 & 7.1, Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0.8, and Fetch on Apple iMac running OS X (10.4.8).
  • Worked with clients to create, edit, & revise advertisements for publishing in the Hazard Herald. Provided customer service and public relations to clients and callers who contact the Hazard Herald.
  • Handled the organization of content to be published, as well as the content that has been published in previous issues. Created back-ups of past issues and artwork for archival purposes.
  • Maintained a mixed network of PC and MAC hardware. Worked with a MAC OS 9 storage server for advertising and work flow storage. Serviced a DSL connection that provides internet access to both MACs and PCs. Networked a Xerox Document Center copier with the PC/MAC network for network print access.

  • Gathered articles and information to publish in the Mountain Sports Leader weekly newspaper. Created computer graphics and advertisements in each issue. Gathered information and photographs for the Sports Preview magazines that are published each season. Compiled the information into the various publications using Quark XPress and Adobe Acrobat Professional for page layout and Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for the imaging and graphics work.
  • Had to maintain the computer workstations, computer network, and internet connection throughout the office. Kept the computer systems up-to-date with newest available updates and patches from software vendors. Advised administration about new purchases needed for Information Technology. Fixed problems with the hardware when there where issues and updated systems with hardware when needed.
  • Created and maintained the company website using Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks for imaging and Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver for publishing.
