Driven by a passion for innovation and challenging the status-quo, Brandon is a dynamic leader with an uncommon background spanning Executive-level roles in Revenue & Operations, Analytics & Strategy, Finance & Continuous Improvement. With prior oversight for 400+ team members & full P&L accountability as Managing Director of Norwegian Cruise Line's Hawaiian subsidiaries, including the largest Tour and Transportation company in Hawaii, Brandon is currently Head of Onboard Revenue for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

During his professional career, Brandon has been consistently recruited to lead multiple, incredibly diverse positions over his decade + in the Travel & Hospitality industry.  With prior analytic oversight for 15,000+ employees & $1B in revenues & costs - overseeing business units worldwide - Brandon has played in integral part in the roll-out of countless initiatives and programs which aided Norwegian Cruise Line in its largest confirmed growth period during the company’s nearly 50 year history.  More recently, he also was recruited to create the Finance & Accounting Organization for Richard Branson's latest startup with Virgin.

Under Brandon's direction, currently overseeing Onboard Revenue for Royal Caribbean International, Net Onboard Revenue yield  grew by 6.8% year-over-year on a Constant Currency basis in 2017.  

Academically, Brandon has acquired a Masters of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, both from the University of Florida.

Global Director, Onboard Revenue

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
  • Reporting to the SVP of Operations, recruited to grow $1Billion in Revenues for 25 business units globally.

  • Responsible for all Contracting, Negotiations and Strategic Growth pertaining to every revenue area onboard; including Retail, Spa / Fitness, Photography, Art, Weddings, Port Shopping and Other. 

  • Consistently researched and found new revenue opportunities for the brand; negotiated numerous contracts which were accretive to Revenue and overall Brand Loyalty (including Shipboard Vending, e-Commerce Shopping, etc).

  • Notable Achievements:

    • NEW Revenue Creation - Built entirely new revenue streams for the brand, including an online e-Commerce platform selling Branded Logo-merchandise to guests globally. With only 3 months of research and negotiation, added between $3-5M annually to the organization’s bottom-line.
    • Pricing Strategies - Implemented a new per-person/per-day Pricing Strategy to drive declining Photo Revenue; test results from 3 Business Units yielded a 360% increase in units sold, and average growth of 252% in Revenue. Prompted immediate roll-out to all BUs globally.
    • Contract Strategy - Consistently renegotiated contracts, increasing Royal's overall margin between 10-25% for each of the revenue streams;  drove Royals' Onboard Revenue to it's Highest Yields & Total Revenue in the company's history.
    • Inventory Management / Savings - presented & assisted in development of a new inventory management procedure, instituting new operating protocols for bar inventory fleet-wide. After roll-out, the initiative will reduce Bar COGS by 2-3%, saving the company an estimated $4M in the first year alone.
    • Management by the Numbers  - Overhauled Analytic Reporting for all Revenue Areas; leveraging data from our Data Warehouse, created Key Performance Metrics for every operational area, and instituted weekly reviews to ensure growth and bottom-line results were being achieved (vis-à-vis plan and prior year)

Acting-CFO / Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Reporting to the CEO and CCO, recruited to create & lead the Finance & Accounting Organization at Virgin Voyagesthe newest Virgin startup from Sir Richard Branson and Bain Capital.
  • Tasked with building all Financial modeling, systems, procedures and infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Responsible for spearheading all financial forecasting, strategic and capital planning.
  • Provided direction and support through detailed revenue / cost analyses,  contract review & evaluation, and by ensuring that company accounting procedures / reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Notable Achievements:
    • Led all financial forecasting and planning processes including development of the long-term G&A plan, annual operating & revenue plan, quarterly revised estimates, monthly updates, and various pacing schedules.
    • Constructed countless financial procedures, forms, and fiscal models to serve as the structural bedrock for Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Accounting and Other areas.

Managing Director / VP, Hawaiian Subsidiaries

Polynesian Adventure Tours / Norwegian Cruise Line
  • Reporting to the CEO and CAO, chosen to lead Norwegian’s Subsidiaries in Honolulu, HI, including the largest Tour & Transportation Provider in state, and the largest Luau on Kauai.
  • Negotiated all contracts, and established countless business development initiatives, which boosted direct business growth by more than 115% annually, and concurrently turned around a failing business unit.
  • Built comprehensive planning models for Annual/Quarterly Budgets, restructured the P&L / Internal Accounting codes for transparency in Revenues & Costs by business unit, and created the organization’s first Employee Engagement committee.
  • Notable Achievements:

    • With one of the primary business units failing upon my entry into the organization - losing roughly $(30k) in EBITDA annually – I had our Sales team prepare an in-depth analysis on the competitive landscape. Aver evaluating, we re-branded the assets & successfully restructured the business unit, creating $280k in positive EBITDA during the first year alone. Through redefining the business proposition, we removed 60% of the unnecessary overhead while providing a commensurate product to guests.
    • Completely rebuilt our direct business strategy, designing a new flagship website and more than 10 supporting microsites to drive product-specific sales; concurrently provided white-label sites for our most valued travel partners.
    • Designed, developed and rolled out a “Premium” option on the most popular product offerings, increasing top-line revenues by 15-20% on each product with zero degradation in demand.

Director, Financial Planning, Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Promoted to lead all Financial and Analytic Functions for Shipboard Operations; directed team of Operational / Analytic Managers responsible for Planning of Revenues & Costs in excess of $1BB.
  • Recruited to create & lead a new Continuous Improvement Division /culture for the organization; built a team to support both corporate and business-unit specific training & transformation company-wide.

 Notable Achievements:

    • Reviewed revenues in the specialty restaurants in order to understand why covers had become stagnant. As a result, created a targeted strategy that resulted in a lift in guest satisfaction scores of 7%, cost savings of $120K annually and incremental gross revenues of $200K.
    • A thorough analysis of the sub-par quarterly dining revenues highlighted the need to create a more flexible pricing model. A result of the analysis prompted a successful 2 month test and subsequent fleet-wide rollout of the new pricing structure which yielded an $0.84 lift in net contribution per guest / per day, a 13% increase in guest satisfaction scores and an increase in overall brand loyalty of 8%.
