As an engineer, I love facing new challenges, learning new disruptive technologies, and overcoming new barriers. My strengths lie in software development, but with an understanding of the underlying electronics, and a high capacity to learn whether through technical literature or experience. I have experience working in a secure environment and maintain a current security clearance.
Develop custom optimization solutions for defense applications using Particle Swarm Optimization, Evolutionary Computing, and Neural Networks. Primarily C/C++, some C# and Python. Custom applications require clear communications with customer, who is the subject matter expert, to enable solutions that are going to fit their specific needs.

Working under IU-Collaborative Research Grant, developed Cuda C/C++ for Ophthalmology team from IU to enable real time image reconstruction for Adaptive Optics-Optical Coherence Tomography on a GPU. Project required numerous collaborative meetings and communication between teams at Indianapolis and Bloomington. Work yielded a couple master's thesis and a few papers and furthered the Ophthalmology team in their long term plans to get their technology into clinical applications.

Focus on Computer Engineering. Thesis on using GPU with Adaptive-Optics Optical Coherence Tomography.
Took courses in C, VHDL, Microprocessors and was named a Design Leader for Senior Design.
