Managed a team of five at Picnic Coffee’s busy city centre location. Operating in the niche speciality coffee market, it was critical for the brand that I maintained high quality of product and service whilst delivering rapid turnover through busy periods. Clear communication and consistent use of systems and processes across the team enabled this.
Designed and delivered the Picnic Coffee social media strategy. Developed the Twitter account to double the following, generate sales leads and engage in local networking, both through social media and in person. Built a network of cross-promotion between local independent traders and our suppliers. Channels include twitter, instagram and facebook; chosen based on appropriate application for the message.
