       Leading and managing of project teams (Software, Hardware, Mechanical Design, Verification and validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality), in order to design complete instrument cluster  from quotation and development up to 6 months after the start of production.

Achievements and tasks:

  • Integrate and Tailor PRINCE2 method to fit the corporate process house.
  • Introduced the Version Control Tool ( previously used only by software teams) and the new Change Management Tool as mandatory in all core discipline .
  • Trained the core team on Change Management, Version Control, Risk Management and Configuration Item List topics
  • Manage scope, cost, schedule,risk & contractual deliverables of the projects.

Main Achievement and tasks    

  • Transferred the complete Mercedes HeadUp Display platform project ( 205 ) from Germany to Romania. This project was the first HUD developed in Timisoara and opened the gates for new opportunities in HeadUp Market in our local BU. 
  • Overtook the FIAT Tipo Cluster development in a critical state and secure the SOP milestones (this project was one of the biggest challenges in our local BU due to the aggressive car timeline and new technologies)
  • Prepared and conducted three customer audits ( process related). The audit was successfully passed.
  • Coach&Trainer for new Software Project Managers 
  • Ramp up an international team in order to fulfil the customer needs ( established teams in Romania, Slovakia, China and Croatia) 
  • Integrated the new customer issue tracking tool (Polarion) .Established a new process to integrate&test software modules from the customer and provide feedback ( first project in our location with software modules developed by the customer) 
  • Facilitated know how building in Autosar 
  • Adapted new development techniques to our internal process : Pair programming , Daily scrum meeting, new KPI reporting..

       Lead the complete software development for :

  • Mercedes Head Up Display (205/213) and lead the software quotation for new HUD platforms 
  • Cluster instrument panel for : New Fiat Tipo, Alfa Romeo Giulietta/Mito , Fiat 500L and Lancia Ypsilon
