Bob Juckniess

Experienced in building businesses from the ground up, Burr Ridge, Illinois, entrepreneur Robert “Bob” Juckniess serves as Chairman and CEO of Royal Buying Group, Inc. The $500 million organization spans three divisions with diverse gas stations, chain convenience stores, and truck stops. In total, Bob Juckniess guides corporate strategy across 6,000 member retailers.

Bob Juckniess has spearheaded employee morale boosts while significantly decreasing health care outlays. He has also overseen fraud-control efforts that enabled a more than 50 percent decrease in chargebacks. Among Royal Buying Group’s distinctions is achieving selection by Crain’s as among the top 25 fastest-growing privately held enterprises in the Chicago area.

Robert Juckniess previously held responsibilities with RWJ Management Companies, Inc., and its affiliates as CEO and chairman. He led 10 BP-branded gas stations and convenience stores in the Chicago area, guiding operations and leading strategic acquisitions for the $150 million group. He also operated approximately 50 Shell gas stations in Cincinnati and Indianapolis.
