Infrastructure includes a 10G fiber optic network using Cisco switches and WAPs, VMware on Dell R620 servers, Mitel VoIP Phones, EqualLogic PS4100X SAN, BGP between 2 ISPs with auto failover and load balancing, and 1+ Gigabit high speed internet access.

Provided guidance and managed the initiative of an enterprise CRM solution implementation for a private University that is designed to support the entire Student Life Cycle.

Gathered requirements, defined success criteria, streamlined the business processes and provided a centralized management solution; the platform enabled all facets of the University to collaborate across the institution and enhanced the constituent’s experience from the moment they became a prospect (recruitment) to matriculation (retention) to post grad (advancement).

The goal was to provide a unified platform that is not only flexible and scalable, but also affords each school the ability to uniquely define its role and business processes on one single database architecture with seamless integration to legacy systems.

Provided vision and leadership for developing and implementing IT initiatives and supported these initiatives in a hands-on manner. Key responsibilities:

• Participated in developing the framework for the 12-City Peace Plan Strategy (Strategic Imperatives, Owners, Processes, Operational Governance), Budget, Executive Presentations and Intel Gathering. Led IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of off-the-shelf, mobile, cloud-based solutions.

• Assisted with defining strategy, specifications and support for the unprecedented “Church in a Cloud” software solution. Researched, selected, negotiated contracts, implemented and trained staff on a solutions such as the Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce and Formsite), Project Management (Smartsheet), Social Media Management (Radian-6), Content Management (Composite C1), Media Asset Management (Levels-Beyond and Kaltura), Learning Management (Litmos), Google Enterprise Applications, and Scrum for Agile Development (Microsoft TFS 2012).

• Responsible for the Peace Plan website, which is a church-to-church strategy to mobilize ordinary members to do normal tasks that make a difference in the world. The goals of the portal are to turn an audience into an army, consumers into contributors, and spectators into participators in response to the giant problems affecting billions of people such as poverty, disease and illiteracy. Brought software development in house and deployed 10 significant enhancements in 9 months.

• Developed specifications for a Communications / Situation center including technology tools to monitor and track developments worldwide in real-time 24/7.

Established and managed strategic channel relationships, expanded business opportunities, implemented policies, improved processes, and strengthened relationships for a new digital archiving service.

Provided thought leadership on media services such as element assessment, restoration, preservation, and access-enablement strategies.

• Secured a relationship with the Carson Entertainment Group which led to the foundational portal implementation that gives authorized users unprecedented access to the entire Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson library for revenue generating opportunities. Led the digitization, organization, transcription and development of a keyword searchable database categorized by monologues (2,595), guests (8,002), performances (16,276), commercials (19,434) or any word uttered (25 million words of metadata added at 99% accuracy). The results were positive with flattering news stories in The LA Times (front page), The New York Times (arts section), and an informative closing segment on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams (and Ann Curry)..

• Assumed responsibility for business development when the new division had no customers and formed new relationships with such academic, museum, corporate, sports, and faith-based organizations and personality groups as Johnny Carson, Will Rogers, Lily Tomlin, Polo Ralph Lauren, UCLA, the National Religious Broadcasters Association, the Ultimate Fighting Championships, World Vision International, and Boeing to generate revenues in the multiple millions of dollars.

• Developed new media business models and market segments, produced pipeline, penned proposals, negotiated deals, and established long term partnerships. Consulted, advised, positioned, sold, and implemented strategic value-add services to small and large content owners.

·Mentor – American Corporate Partners (ACP) – Provide counseling, guidance, and networking with professionals for a US Marine Veteran from Camp Pendleton transitioning from the armed services to the civilian workforce.
