  • Work with the Executive Manager to formulate and execute strategic changes at a department level
  • Work with the Executive Manager for department level financial reporting, including formulation of cost breakdown methods

Key achievements

  • Designed, built and coordinated my department’s risk management framework. Oversaw Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing, and was responsible for the design of other test frameworks to mitigate various business risks
  • Collaborated with the Executive Manager to devise and then execute structural changes within the department, including providing clear and concise communications regarding the changes
  • Designed and launched my department’s intranet site to allow business areas access to up to date project progress information at any time
  • Represented my line of business whilst working with IT and projectteams to implement a formal Systems Development Life Cycle methodology

  • Successfully delivered a major restitution mailing which included the production and distribution of cover letters, Pay As You Go or Rollover Benefits Statement documents and, where applicable, cheque payments. This project had different requirements for each of the 20 mailing streams
  • Developed a strategy for a new data extraction method that delivered quality, risk, cost and time benefits
