Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Indesign

Adobe Photoshop

Autocad

Rhino 5.0

Autodesk Revit

I have used Autodesk Revit for many years, but it was not until the past year that I began to utilize many different aspects of the tool. Revit works in two types of files RVT, and RFA and like most aspiring architects the latter was seldom used. Once I discovered the power you have at your fingertips when integrating both of these file types I began to find that Revit as a modeling and massing tool is easily the most powerful architectural software on the market. I have used Rhino 5.0, 3DS, Form Z, Maya, Sketchup, and by far Revit surpasses them all in ease of use and utility.  With any tool as exceptionally powerful as Revit, I continue to learn more about it. That being said I do not know many people who utilizes Revit and all of its complexities like I have been able to.

Superintendent

Cummings and Associates Architects Inc

As a superintendent for Cummings and Associates Architects Inc., I managed the construction of Eye Max Optical a $300,000 project in Mesquite TX. My daily responsibilities included ordering inspections from the city as well as coordinating with the office, architect, owner, and multiple sub contractors in order to meet the scope and timeline of the project laid out by the architect and owner. This resulted in a better understanding of multiple architectural elements including the following; a greater understanding of the building process, a greater comprehension of construction timeline fundamentals, as well as a more comprehensive understanding of building assemblies.

Intern

Cummings and Associates Architects Inc

The summer before Cumming and Associates gave me an opportunity to manage one of their projects I spent three months shadowing a few of their project managers as well as superintendents. This led to a greater understanding of how the architectural drawings move from the desk to site and the processes necessary in order to achieve quality working drawings.
