Seven Environmental Literacy Lesson Plans (2002). 

Developed and wrote "Seven Environmental Literacy Lesson Plans" for adult ESL students for the Hartford Public Library through a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Hartford Neighborhood Alliance Project to disseminate environmental health knowledge and cultivate civic engagement among the city's newest residents.

The Oral Tradition: The Art of Storytelling for ESL Students (2002).

Participated in a pilot  program of teaching English language skills, including audience engagement, pronounciation, cadence, stress and intonation through world folklore and storytelling to adult ESL students  in conjunction with a grant from Lauerbach Literacy International National Book Scholarship Fund. 

Assisted with the selection of print and multimedia resources for the HPL's ESL collection development.
