About Bliss Kaneshiro

Ob-gyn Bliss Kaneshiro began her medical career at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, where she received her doctor of medicine. Following this, she embarked on an extensive period of training as a postgraduate student via an internship and residency with the University of Hawaii Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health. Later, Dr. Bliss Kaneshiro expanded her expertise with a master of public health in epidemiology and biostatistics from Oregon Health and Science University, where she also completed a fellowship in family planning.

Dedicated to advancing knowledge in her field, Dr. Bliss Kaneshiro has penned a number of articles and papers that have appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals including Current Obstetrics and Gynecology Reports and the Journal of Reproductive Medicine. An active member of the medical profession, she belongs to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Family Planning, and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, among other organizations.
