About Blake Sturcke

Blake Sturcke currently serves as co-founder and executive vice president at Turning Earth, LLC. He served as a member of the senior executive team that founded the clean energy company in 2010 and has continued to lead the company in all areas of growth and operations. Among other key achievements with the company, Blake Sturcke spearheaded the development and implementation of a strategic partnership between Turning Earth and Covanta Energy, a waste-to-energy operation valued at $2.3 billion.

Mr. Sturcke, an economics graduate of Bucknell University, holds an MBA from Columbia University. An active member of the community, he contributes to his alma mater as well as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Outside of his work with Turning Earth, Mr. Sturcke enjoys listening to live music, particularly in the singer-songwriter genre. He also stays physically active by running competitively. He regularly competes in races at a variety of distances, ranging from 5K to marathons to 200-mile relay races.
