Program Associate, Community Development Project
I assist non-profit organizations in obtaining tax-exempt status, writing bylaws and articles of incorporation. Additionally, I contact volunteer attorneys on behalf of non-profit organizations to initiate communcation and assist the organization in obtaining pro bono legal assistance. I also perform client intake and outreach to attorneys and organizations.

Project HEAL offers free access to an attorney to children with disabilities for issues including education, social security and disability. As a law clerk for the Founding Director, I conduct research on education topics such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), write demand letters to parents and schools in both English and Spanish, and participate in IEP meetings with school personnel and parents.

I responded to consumer inquiries and mediated complaints between Maryland residents and healthcare providers. I also conducted research on current health policy and legislative issues, specifically issues related to the Affordable Care Act.

Sales and Academics Manager
I was in charge of testing all students that enroll in a program and creating a learning plan to adress the individual needs of the student. I also held all parent conferences so as to address any concerns and made sure that all members wanted to continue their relationship with SCORE!. I ensured that all students made the guaranteed academic progress by recruiting, hiring and training qualified tutors and continually coaching all employees so that we provided the best service possible.

I consistently met monthly sales goals that were set anywhere from $25,000 to $70,000. Sales and Recruiting Coordinator
I began as recruiting coordinator and assisted recruiters with phone screening, scheduling interviews and testing candidates on a variety of web and graphic design programs. The sales coordinator position was created for me due to my success as a recruting coordinator. I acted as an account manager and prospected new business through networking and cold-calling. Throughout my time with The BOSS Group I was also oversaw the weekly payroll process for over 100 employees on the field, trained all internal employees and was the office manager for the Bethesda brach and the corporate offices.
