  • Directed a staff of 15 with a P&L of $7.2M.
  • Maintained International Operations in 10 countries and 750,000 subscribers.
  • Staffed and developed new spinoff venture; purchased equipment, built processes and leased facility for growth.

ClosedNetworks developed wireless networks for underserved municipal marketplace and designed secure networks for Homeland security surveillance systems.

  • Started with company at an early stage, just passed start-up. Was responsible to form an Operations, deployment and support organization that would scale to a national level.
  • Strategized the cost reduction of the product offering and formed first real financial model for growth.
  • Developed a technical model, "proof of concept" in the local marketplace that led to the first Municipal broadband system in Phila.
  • Worked with homeland security reps to design and implement a secure wireless network for Ip cameras for tier 3 threat sites.
  • Worked to secure funding through Ben Franklin Technology partners for new technology build.
  • Built and managed complete Wireless backhaul ring from South Jersey through the city area of Phila, and maintained a broadband customer base for bandwidth offloads and redundancy.

  • Directed, staffed and organized the corporate Project Management Office. Implemented project scheduling and resource tracking mechanisms that reduced development costs by 23%.
  • Developed project review process and tracking of priorities across functional groups.
  • Directed a matrix organization of developers, product managers and customer project managers.
  • Managed and deployed projects for domestic international customers in Latin America and Europe.

A global leader in providing integrated communications and embedded electronic solutions to the CATV marketplace.Directed resource allocations and a project development staff of 95 engineers for 75 projects in the US, Taiwan, Mexico and the United Kingdom with a budget responsibility of $75M.

  • Responsible for all new product, system or technology startups within the business unit.
  • Initiated first "beta test" concept and process, resulting in smooth product introduction to field and reduction of production defects.
  • Provided pre and post sales support to include initial customer site surveys, ongoing project management and continuing through the installation process and ongoing customer support.
  • Assured customer contract and budget adherence. Efforts on Major MSO account resulted in savings of $8M in imposed penalties.
  • Led customer projects in Latin America, Sweden, Norway, UK, Ireland, France as well many domestic locations.
  • Frequently called upon to lead "laser" focused teams of developers and support staff to solve high profile or time critical issues

  • Managed the broadcast facility and satellite uplink.
