Corporate Benefits Manager
Corporate manager of all welfare and retirement benefit plans for 6,500 employees located throughout the United States and Canada. Worked with brokers/consultants, carriers and administrative vendors for smooth operation of benefit plans. Administered 401(k) plans, including base plan with assets totaling over $83 million, union money purchase plans, and tandem executive non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Worked with Plant Human Resources Managers to ensure employee communication, enrollment, and issue resolution for all benefit plans. Prepared and reviewed required documentation for benefit programs. Supervised day-to-day responsibilities for one non-exempt administrative assistant.
