Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all brand social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Pinterest, Google+, and Periscope) to foster two-way conversation with Cybex customers, trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and industry influencers, continuing to grow an online community that has grown 70% on Facebook and 25% on Twitter since August 2014.
  • Create and manage the editorial calendar and schedule for the Cybex Fitness blog to coordinate around campaigns and seasonal events, including the writing of weekly articles, designing layouts, brainstorming concepts, and recruiting contributors to the blog.
  • Monitor key benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, blog analytics, and call-to-action effectiveness to analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Manage the strategic development of a comprehensive Trainer Outreach program.
  • Oversee and manage all influential talent, Personal Service Agreements, and partnerships.
  • Manage all aspects of Customer Entertainment & Hospitality initiatives encompassing on-site factory visits and off-site events, acting as internal lead for all areas surrounding the Medway HQ showroom, overseeing logistics, complete renovation, usage, and overall internal SOP.
  • Manage and assist in all areas related to Product Customization, e-commerce, and Soft Goods, including the development of an online Pro Shop and execution of domestic and international events including over 25 trade shows and 100 customer visits to our headquarters and factory in Owatonna, MN.

Sr. Marketing Manager/Director of Media & Events, Combine360, Inc.

Responsible for product launch and branding as well as business development of a full-scale sport performance certification and continuing education platform built on core athletic principles and evaluation.

Selected Accomplishments:

  • Developed and executed marketing strategy for the platform, effectively driving brand awareness, social media presence, community engagement, and traffic to company website and media channels.
  • Wrote and prepared proposals for current clients, potential sponsors, and governing bodies for accreditation of certification.
  • Assessed marketing strategies to determine rate of return. Identified and tapped into new channels to optimize ROI and fuel community growth.
  • Activated relationships with over 600 C360 certified trainers and over 20,000 registered athletes to create a training community to actively promote the brand.
  • Built a strong base of partners, sponsors and ambassadors including Gatorade, TRX, IDEA Health & Fitness Association, BOSU, and Under Armour to co-create and syndicate content for the community.
  • Planned and managed all trade show and training events including real-time social media, marketing kits, curriculum, presentations and exhibit space.
  • Managed multiple product launches including the C360 Certification, Continuing Education, Online Education, Master Trainer Program, Business Kit templates, and athlete evaluations.
  • Executed all social media and continuously monitored online public relations and ensured the success of this joint-venture start-up between IMG and Under Armour.
  • Produced media kit that demonstrated key marketing analytics and demographics for use in sales presentations. Efforts were credited as instrumental in closing numerous high-level deals.
  • Produced all internal and external business presentations including training material, sponsorship proposals, press releases, executive summaries and marketing strategies, providing final proof reads and edits.

Under Armour

Developed and managed the Under Armour Combines and the UA Performance Training Initiative. Involved in product marketing launches, asset activation, event marketing, and integrated marketing campaigns.

Selected Accomplishments:

  • Launched the Under Armour Combines, a series of global recruiting events for high school athletes, driving brand awareness via social media.
  • Acted as liaison between corporate sponsors and partners including Muscle Milk, NCSA, ESPN, the NFL, the MLB, the NBA, the NCAA, and for media needs and syndicated content across digital and print channels.
  • Created and managed the launch of “The New Prototype (TNP)” training initiative, including experience website, blog, social media and the UA Performance Training Council comprised of professional and collegiate strength coaches.
  • Planned and activated marketing strategies for over 300 professional and collegiate assets at the national, regional and local levels via print & social media.
  • Involved in marketing plans for over 12 product launches including cleated footwear, training footwear, training apparel, a full Combine Training line and athlete-specific products.
  • Wrote copy for multiple product and footwear catalogs as well as company experience websites, including the 2010 Webby Award winning Chris McCormack experience site, “Macca,” and social media channels.
  • Directed focus groups around apparel and footwear products, company initiatives and programs, utilizing the acquired information to develop strategies and determine core and target demographics.
  • Managed integrated marketing campaigns as the representative for the brand at events including the Super Bowl, NFL Experience, ESPY Awards, Ironman Triathlon, MLB All-Star Game and the NBA Draft.

Oversaw the joint-venture project of Combine360 between Under Armour and IMG, serving as a shared resource and ultimately being promoted and relocated to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida as part of the program launch.
