Responsible for Installation, Integration, Upgrade, Operation & Maintenance and Technical Support of Location Based Systems of Polaris Wireless deployed across various customer locations for the E911 service in the United States.

Polaris wireless provides high accuracy, software-based, location systems for accurately determining the location of mobile phones.

  • Act as Technical Manager for the Managed Services customers like Union Wireless, Longlines, Choice Wireless, Einstein Wireless, C1 NorthEast Arizona, Commnet Wireless and Kaplan Telephone.
  • Preparation and execution of MOPs for the software Upgrade and network configurations.
  • Provide Support for various customer activities for ex: Cell sites rehome and BSC software upgrades etc.
  • Provide status updates to customers and facilitate incidents progress to closure.
  • Provide KPI reports to customers on regular basis and help to improve the call yield.

  • Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 type problem resolution, by utilizing the necessary databases and phone support that will be in place to track and ensure SLA compliance and timely trouble resolution.
  • Collaborate on editing and maintenance of all documentation related to the LWM systems.

As a Solution Integrator, I was responsible for Installation and Commissioning, Integration, Customer Acceptance & Validation of Ericsson IN (Prepaid) system in India and Sri Lanka Market Unit.

I have been involved in complete prepaid system implementation at several customer locations in India and had complete understanding of the Prepiad System.

vI worked as Solution cum Delivery Architect and Onsite Team Lead for one of the prepaid project. For this project, I have given detailed solution for the implementation of existing Prepaid System’s Expansion and to Upgrade the software version of the system.

Various phases of my involvement in prepaid system implementation:

  • Software Installation of SDP and SCP nodes and integration.
  • Signaling links configuration between SDP and SCP and Call testing with different MSCs.
  • Preparation of SDP Tariffs and tariff testing.
  • Installation and integration of MINSAT (Prepaid Admin system), AIR (Account Refill) and VS (Voucher Management) with other Charging system nodes.
  • Integration of Charging System with Mediation and Warehouse systems.
  • Subscriber migration to the Ericsson system.
  • Prepaid System Validation and Customer Acceptance.
