Summary

I am an articulate, hard-working International Management graduate looking to enter the Marketing industry by using the skills I have developed throughout my studies both at university and through my employment at various companies.

Throughout these years of both studying and working, I have learned and developed many different skills. My commercial awareness has been enhanced exponentially through research that I needed to undertake for various assignments at university, as well as my experience working in both a MNC and a SME. My communication skills have also developed astronomically via both previous employment and being in a group setting within university, so much though that I am now confident speaking in front of large audiences. With this increase in confidence came perseverance, a belief that I can and will complete any task, no matter how difficult.

I have a keen interest in sports, especially Football and Tennis. I try to lead an active lifestyle, keeping myself fit and healthy. I am also passionate about travelling, and would like to visit all corners of the planet, be it for business or pleasure.

Care Learning Centre

Marketing & Social Media Strategist

Upon graduating I was offered this full time job within the Marketing Department. My first big task was to create the strategy for the designing, implementation and advertising of the website for CLC’s sister company, The Hair Centre. This has resulted in a vastly increased number of customers in the last 3 months. My role also required me to run the daily social media feeds, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for both The Hair Centre and Care Learning Centre. As a result, engagements from both sets of social media have increased, and applications for apprenticeships via the internet have increased by 50%. Another role that I had was to travel to various employers to put together testimonials from both the manager and learner in order to showcase quality of service that is offered.

Whilst studying at College and University, I worked at the Care Learning Centre part time. My role required me to be organized, as I was expected to be responsible for the filing of all learner information regarding the status of their Apprenticeships. I also had to occasionally answer to client's calls, which further enhanced my communication and customer service skills.

Coming into this job as a 16-year-old benefited me in a very positive way, by allowing me to develop skills which I will need throughout the entirety of my career. One of the most important skills I was able to develop was communicating with customers, which enabled me to provide an extremely satisfactory level of customer service within the store. I was also required to work in a team setting, occasionally I would feel the need to take over this team as a leader to set out roles and goals in order to complete our tasks quicker.
