Digital Marketing Coordinator

My responsibilities at Aurora included social media management as well as supporting internal communications' efforts. I comprised half of the social media team responsible for posting daily content, monitoring networks and developing strategy for the Aurora Health Care profiles. We also consulted and directed dozens of specific groups within Aurora in promoting their services and developing their individual social media strategies. I was also the project lead during the pre-launch phase of Aurora's involvement in, a website created by the founders of WebMD that launched in October. Furthermore, I assisted the internal communications team in producing and scheduling content for the company's intranet site, viewed by 30,000 Aurora caregivers, and the external site at

Consumer & Affiliate Marketing Coordinator

Sportsman Channel

I was part of the marketing team of a national television network in which our goal was to drive demand for the network, resulting in wider distribution of the network on cable systems throughout the country. I assisted in driving subscriber growth from four million to 17 million viewers.

As a Consumer Marketing Coordinator, I was a member of team that managed company’s first venture into social marketing and contributed to 500% growth in two months, utilizing Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogger outreach. I was the creator of our internal company newsletter and external newsletter reaching 30,000 readers. I also managed marketing partnerships with producers and developed grassroots marketing plans to generate leads in our target markets with minimal budget.

As an Affiliate Marketing Coordinator, I coordinated marketing campaigns with cable affiliates to drive affiliate subscriber growth, negotiated thousands of network commercial spots on affiliate cable systems and represented the network at industry events.

As the Studio Assistant at Hanson Dodge, I was sort of a jack of all trades. Among other responsibilities, I provided day-to-day support to the Director of Operations and coordinated operations projects such as wellness programs, event support and project management assistance.



While at Aurora Health Care, we incorporated YouTube into many of our communications plans, using the site to tell patient stories, caregiver stories and provide educational health care information.
Microsoft Office
I have used Microsoft Office programs for years and I'm very comfortable using them for business purposes.
Newsletter Writing
In my most recent position I was responsible for creating the company's bi-weekly internal newsletter and a monthly external newsletter. The external newsletter was sent to over 30,000 readers each month and was followed by a review of the newsletter's statistics such as open rates and click rates.
I am proficient in using Twitter both in personal and professional communications. I am an active daily user of Twitter from my personal account. During my time at Aurora Health Care, I managed the company's Twitter communications on a daily basis. This includes developing content, scheduling messaging and monitoring mentions for feedback and customer service interaction.
I have experience using Facebook for business purposes, specifically in producing and posting content, developing content strategy, building a Facebook presence and monitoring pages for feedback and interaction.
Email Marketing
I have created newsletters sent by emails blasts and created survey requests sent by email.

Social Networking


I was half of the team managing the social media efforts of Aurora Health Care, one of the largest employers in Wisconsin, while also managing our involvement in the launch of and delivering communications plans for our internal partners. Prior to that, I helped manage Sportsman Channel’s first initiative in developing a social media presence, where my efforts helped fuel subscriber growth from four million to 17 million viewers.
