Possessing more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bill Coke serves as a managing director and financial advisor at the Boston, Massachusetts, office of J.P. Morgan Securities. The core of his practice consists of all-inclusive investment advising for institutional clients, such as endowments and foundations, as well as business executives and high-net-worth individuals. Relied upon by clients to manage portfolios with diverse asset allocations in sharply fluctuating markets, Bill Coke draws on the insights of J.P. Morgan’s rigorously vetted researchers and money managers to secure clients’ wealth and advance their financial goals.
Along with providing investment management, Mr. Coke possesses experience rendering services to hedge funds, money managers, and middle-market pension plans. He has also helped corporate executives seeking to convert their holdings to cash to take their enterprise public or engage in restricted stock trades.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Securities, Bill Coke served as a managing director and principal for Bear Stearns. His broad experience also includes handling investment matters for Shearson Lehman/American Express. Further, as a corporate officer for General Reinsurance, he conducted analysis and underwriting of commercial property and casualty risks for large corporations.
When away from work responsibilities, Mr. Coke enjoys outdoor activities, such as sailing, skiing, and running. A business and finance graduate from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, he remains involved with his alma mater as a founding board governor of the University of Massachusetts Club in Boston.
