About Bill Arata

Throughout his career in law, Bill Arata has demonstrated a commitment to service and a high level of professional knowledge. He entered the field as a graduate of the political science program at Centenary College, where he received induction into the Kappa Alpha Order. After earning his bachelor of arts, Bill Arata enrolled at Southern University Law Center and became a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

Backed by his juris doctor, Bill Arata joined his father's Bogalusa, Louisiana, firm in 1995. He rose to the position of senior partner in 2007 and since that time has handled a wide variety of cases, including personal injury matters and civil litigation.

Formerly active in politics, Mr. Arata attended both the Republican and Democratic Conventions in 1984 and later managed Ross Perot’s presidential campaign in Louisiana. He has contributed to his community as a church member, cubmaster, and board member of the Magic City Carnival Association, as well as a volunteer with local youth.
