VLCC also has a large manufacturing setup in Haridwar and also has operations in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Dubai and the Gulf Region.
Led the technology implementation and rollout of solutions through the full pre-to-post lifecycle, managing large cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, implementing changes to VLCC processes when necessary, leading executive engagement up to the Chairman and Managing Director, analyzing financing support and improving quality of service delivery. This has enabled me to create business value supported by technology and to improve the efficiencies leading to better customer service and impacting the bottom line.• As the Project Manager am leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 5.0 (ERP Solution from Microsoft Corporation) at the Head Office, Centers, Institutes and Warehouse. The ERP has gone live at the Head Office, Warehouse and some of the centre’s from 1st April, 2010. • As the Project Manager led the rollout and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 5.0 at the factory at Haridwar, the modules that have been implemented are Purchase Planning and Management, Inventory Management, Production Planning, Production Management, Quality Management, Warehousing, Sales, Finance and Accounts. This has helped in better managing the procurement and production, improving the cash flows, being able to respond quickly to last-minute requests and changes and controlling the inventory by providing real-time insight into production schedules, capacity, shop floor activities and also has helped in being able to track the actual costs and the variations viz a viz the standard costing.• Am the Project Manager for the Implementation of .Net based Online Sales and Operations Systems at all the 180 Centre’s and Institutes of the company. The application is hosted out of the data centre in Gurgoan and the other locations are accessing the same thru DSL connectivity.• Leading the team that is responsible for maintaining and supporting the integrated retail system (the existing system) covering the areas of Back Office, Finance & Accounts and Point of Sale Solution. This software is installed at the Head Office and the Centre’s and Institutes across India and the Middle East is linked with the Head Office at Gurgoan for exchanging at the day end data relating to sales, stocks and order information.• Am the Project Manager for implementing and rollout of a Mobile based CRM Platform. The Platform allows the team to identify, register, reward and engage with their customers using customer mobile as the loyalty card. By using the platform the team can now register new customers, reward them by earning & burning points and keep connected with them all along, allowing them to establish stronger relationships having a connected loyal customer base all the time. • Implemented a mobile based solution for capturing the daily secondary sales data of the 500 plus sales team and beauty advisors who are located all across India. This data is received thru sms and is automatically collated, is then sent thru sms and email to the relevant regional and area managers and consolidated reports are sent to the National Sales Manager and Managing Director. This has helped in moving to a situation wherein the management and stakeholders are able to view the necessary authenticated reports on a daily basis, earlier there was a manual system of reporting and the management would only get the necessary reports on a weekly basis.• Reduced support calls by 70% through implementation of ongoing user training program.• Implemented the Reliance MPLS VPN Network across the offices of the company across India. This VPN is being utilized for running the operational systems and Microsoft Navision ERP across all locations from the data centre that is located at Gurgoan.• Led the team for setting up and rollout of the entire infrastructure in terms of the hardware (servers and desktops), software, network, security and connectivity across India for the Navision and for the Operation systems implementation. • Management of multiple third party vendors (hardware vendors, software vendors and consulting partners) to implement enterprise IT applications.• Responsible for the evaluation and migration of the ERP and Mailing infrastructure from our existing data centre to a Level 3 data centre provider.
