VLCC is pioneer in organized sector of the beauty and fitness industry which is slated to be worth Rs. 2000 crores and VLCC enjoys the single largest market share. VLCC covers the length and breadth of the country with over 225 centers across 90 cities. VLCC also has a large manufacturing setup in Haridwar and also has operations in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Dubai and the Gulf Region.

Led the technology implementation and rollout of solutions through the full pre-to-post lifecycle, managing large cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, implementing changes to VLCC processes when necessary, leading executive engagement up to the Chairman and Managing Director, analyzing financing support and improving quality of service delivery.  This has enabled me to create business value supported by technology and to improve the efficiencies leading to better customer service and impacting the bottom line.•    As the Project Manager am leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 5.0 (ERP Solution from Microsoft Corporation) at the Head Office, Centers, Institutes and Warehouse. The ERP has gone live at the Head Office, Warehouse and some of the centre’s from 1st April, 2010.  •    As the Project Manager led the rollout and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 5.0 at the factory at Haridwar, the modules that have been implemented are Purchase Planning and Management, Inventory Management, Production Planning, Production Management, Quality Management, Warehousing, Sales, Finance and Accounts. This has helped in better managing the procurement and production, improving the cash flows, being able to respond quickly to last-minute requests and changes and controlling the inventory by providing real-time insight into production schedules, capacity, shop floor activities and also has helped in being able to track the actual costs and the variations viz a viz the standard costing.•    Am the Project Manager for the Implementation of .Net based Online Sales and Operations Systems at all the 180 Centre’s and Institutes of the company. The application is hosted out of the data centre in Gurgoan and the other locations are accessing the same thru DSL connectivity.•    Leading the team that is responsible for maintaining and supporting the integrated retail system (the existing system) covering the areas of Back Office, Finance & Accounts and Point of Sale Solution. This software is installed at the Head Office and the Centre’s and Institutes across India and the Middle East is linked with the Head Office at Gurgoan for exchanging at the day end data relating to sales, stocks and order information.•    Am the Project Manager for implementing and rollout of a Mobile based CRM Platform. The Platform allows the team to identify, register, reward and engage with their customers using customer mobile as the loyalty card. By using the platform the team can now register new customers, reward them by earning & burning points and keep connected with them all along, allowing them to establish stronger relationships having a connected loyal customer base all the time. •    Implemented a mobile based solution for capturing the daily secondary sales data of the 500 plus sales team and beauty advisors who are located all across India. This data is received thru sms and is automatically collated, is then sent thru sms and email to the relevant regional and area managers and consolidated reports are sent to the National Sales Manager and Managing Director. This has helped in moving to a situation wherein the management and stakeholders are able to view the necessary authenticated reports on a daily basis, earlier there was a manual system of reporting and the management would only get the necessary reports on a weekly basis.•    Reduced support calls by 70% through implementation of ongoing user training program.•    Implemented the Reliance MPLS VPN Network across the offices of the company across India. This VPN is being utilized for running the operational systems and Microsoft Navision ERP across all locations from the data centre that is located at Gurgoan.•    Led the team for setting up and rollout of the entire infrastructure in terms of the hardware (servers and desktops), software, network, security and connectivity across India for the Navision and for the Operation systems implementation.  •    Management of multiple third party vendors (hardware vendors, software vendors and consulting partners) to implement enterprise IT applications.•    Responsible for the evaluation and migration of the ERP and Mailing infrastructure from our existing data centre to a Level 3 data centre provider.

Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd is a joint venture between ORIX Corporation, Japan and Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Ltd., India; The company provides financial solutions and also is a specialist in providing end to end transport solutions. The products that the company provides include Vehicle Leasing and value added services, Commercial Vehicle financing, Car Rental, Radio Taxi, Business Transport Solutions, Logistics Management, Equipment Banking and Service Centre.  •    Was the Project Manager for the Implementation of GIS based Vehicle Tracking Systems in the areas of Radio Taxi Operations, Car Rental, Business Transport Solutions across all the locations of the company. The application is hosted out of the data centre in Delhi and the other locations are accessing the same thru the MPLS VPN Network. These applications were business critical applications and enabled the operations team to online track the vehicles on the map and also dispatch the duties to the respective vehicles.•    Implemented the Airtel MPLS VPN Network across all the sixteen offices of the company across India. This VPN is being utilized for running the operational systems and Microsoft Axapta ERP across all locations from the data centre that is located at Delhi. As the business critical applications were GIS based and online tracking on the map was required, the response time and uptime that was required was very high.•    As the Project Manager led the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Axapta (ERP Solution from Microsoft Corporation) which went live from 1st December, 2007. This implementation enabled helped better manage and improve the cash flow, increase efficiency, and impacted the bottom line.•    Led the team for managing the development and implementation of an on line and off line card payment solutions in the various business units.  This was a complex implementation as the point of sale was in the vehicle and the transaction was conducted over the GPRS network. This implementation was approved and certified by American Express Bank and Axis Bank.•    Led the deployment of contact centre’s for the Radio Taxi and Car Rental business across India and also of the business critical common special telephone numbers (44 222 222 and 44 333 222) across all the ten cities where the company has offices, this common number was the single number which was used for all customer interaction.•    Led the setting up and rollout of the entire infrastructure in terms of the hardware (servers and desktops), software, network, security and connectivity across India for the Axapta and for the Operation systems implementation.•    Created and implemented the IS Strategy for the business, conduct the IT budgeting for the various business units and locations covering all areas of business systems, communications and hardware and software support.•    Led the team responsible for technical infrastructure and management including Technical Architecture Planning and Design, Prevention, contingency, data centre setup, disaster recovery, LAN and WAN management, Hardware and Software Support, Assets and Facility Management at the Head Office and Branch Officers which are situated across India.•    Created and implemented a comprehensive IT Security policy and Business Continuity Plan for the company. The key drivers for the BCP were that the business critical applications required a very high uptime, the business was a 24x7x365 business. The benefits that were derived from this implementation were a low downtime thus leading to minimizing the business loss in the event of any disruption.  •    Complete responsibility for managing the planning and deployment of enterprise IT solutions and complex networks LAN, WAN, GPRS, GSM, Digitized Map / GIS, Data Centre Management•    Management of multiple third party vendors (hardware vendors, software vendors and consulting partners) to implement enterprise IT applications.•    Advised management on the key technical capabilities that need to be built on a long-term basis. Act as a counselor to senior management on all IT related activities.•    Conducted regular audits across all systems to ensure compliance with the IT Security policy.•    Provided a high level technical and managerial leadership in networking and computing technology and application maintenance.
