Built first-ever consumer public relations program at world's largest online DVD rental company Established high profile media and third-party partnerships; developed and executed multi-platform celebrity events; initiated and fostered industry relations outreach; oversaw public relations strategy for all external entertainment programs; created and executed newsworthy stunts and events; positioned brand via product placement and viral branding; and collaborated with movie studios and networks on new content.

  • Launched the company's national celebrity screening series across the country, which generated over 500 media hits and made more than 10 million impressions.
  • Developed and launched the company's first major awards season initiative through a partnership with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Entertainment Weekly.
  • Built and managed the public relations program for company's original content initiative, Red Envelope Entertainment.

  • Secured national media coverage for network and personalities, including: Oprah, NBC's Today Show, 60 Minutes, People, ABC Radio, USA Today and New York Times.
  • Oversaw the talent and media relations efforts for top-rated program, Trading Spaces.
  • Introduced over 20 new shows to market, including What Not to Wear and Overhaulin'.
  • Oversaw publicity efforts for key Discovery Pictures/IMAX releases, including The Human Body and Wildfire.
  • Led network brand repositioning 'Life Unscripted' launch effort to media and major stakeholders.

  • Oversaw Sprint Spectrum product launch with multiple national media events and initiatives, including a Jimmy Buffet private concert at the Warner Theater and a government roundtable, resulting in national and local media coverage.
