Summary

I am currently working toward a double major of Computer Science and Physics at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. I am hoping to pursue further graduate education in one of these fields.

I have been involved in multiple research projects during my undergraduate education, including developing a peer review system under the tutelage of Dr. Joline Morrison in the Computer Science Department. I am currently working with Dr. Paul Thomas and Dr. Lyle Ford from the Physics Department on two separate computational science research projects.

Software Developer Intern

Epic

At Epic, I worked on the Stork Application. Over the summer I designed and developed a Pregnancy Timeline module for Epic's software. During the course of my project, I consulted with other Epic staff from various departments, as well as demonstrating the software and getting feedback from doctors and nurses at hospital's using Epic's software.

Liberty Mutual Group

Working with Liberty Mutual, I worked in their Information Systems division maintaining and testing one of their internal web applications. I got experience writing use and test cases as well as automated test scripts.

Java Programming
I started learning to program in Java in high school. Since then I have taken many relevant courses at UWEC related to Java programming. I have also gotten a lot of experience developing a Peer Review System in Java. I have worked extensively with Java's Swing Library for UI design as well as Java Database Connectivity libraries in MySQL specifically.
