Job duties included:

  • Heavy equipment operations; excavators, skid steers, pay-loaders, backhoe, overhead crane and pump trucks.
  • General Labor work
  • Various power tool operations such as;  hammer drills, demolition saws, auger, circular saw, various laser leveling systems, trolling machines, vibrating power screeds, compactors...etc.
  • Framing concrete footings, support walls, push walls, hard trolled floors (basement, garage) broomed pads ( sidewalks, driveways), machine pads for various steel mills, Allied waste transfer station floors, pit scales...etc.
  • Pouring and finishing all of the above. I also poured and finished stamped concrete floors in various colors and textures.
  • Epoxy coat floors in varying finishes
  • Repairing structural deficiencies in concrete such as stress fractures and bowed walls.
  • Concrete and floor jacking.
  • Tuck point work
  • Rehab work on houses; roofs, siding, remodeling, plumbing...etc.

My position of Paramedic Coordinator includes but not limited to:

* Advanced Life Support Audits; in which I review all ALS reports completed each month by all paramedics and submit them to the Regional Coordination Center for monthly review.

* Perform Individual Audits per month; to allow employees to see their current compliance with Protocols.

* Developing remediation for employee improvement

* Create, Plan, schedule, and instruct Continuing Education classes for each month along with ALS & BLS skills days. Then recording outline and attendance for future review.

* Conducting interviews. I am in charge of interviewing all applicants.

* New Hire Orientation. I host Orientation for all of the new hires which lasts five eight hour days then schedule them for three weeks of ride time with an field training officer.

* Drug screening. I do drug screening for all new hire applicants and randomly selected employees.* Blood draws. I do yearly blood draws for employee insurance.

* AHA BLS Instructor and Training center faculty (Healthcare Provider/Heartsaver CPR AED). I schedule, create and teach CPR classes through the AHA and monitor over 70 instructors in my training center.

* Monitor Field Training Officer Program including implementing a Monthly Con-Ed training for the FTOs to teach the current field associates. I schedule new associates with FTOs and continually educate them on proper teaching techniques.
