About Me:

My quest for new and increasingly difficult challenges has taken me across the US and around the globe. From start-ups to the world's No.1 gaming systems company, and from Asia to Africa, North and South America to Europe; I've designed, implemented, and troubleshot some of the most business-critical IP networks found anywhere.I have passed the Cisco CCIE R&S written exam, and hold a current Cisco CCNA. My background includes 10 years of professional experience in technical sales, IT consulting, network and systems design, and IT department management. In addition, I have expertise in a wide range of IT systems.

As senior network consultant and platform architect, was responsible for all technical aspects of Bally Technologies' High-Speed Network platform and HSN-enabled gaming solutions. Worked closely with sales, product development, QA, and compliance groups to assist in sales and business case processes, product development, and implementation of networked gaming products at customer sites. Responsible for resolving highest priority and most complicated network issues.

Onelink Corporation

Network Supervisor for publicly traded start-up corporation in the travel industry. IT and Telecom management reponsibilities included 24/7 operations of voice/data infrastructure for 200 users across 4 remote offices, including 2 call centers. Managed staff of 2 employees, with budgetary responsibility for all IT-related operations and expenditures. Worked here until the company exhausted funding and ended business operations.

Served as Network Consultant providing guidance, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.

Projects included:

  • Ongoing managment a small team of technical consultants, and was responsible for the daily monitoring and maintenance of over 20 customer networks.
  • Consulting for hospitality industry start-up. Installed and inspected new sites as part of "HSIA" high-speed internet deployment team to over 70 hotels throughout midwest US. Provided project leadership and technical expertise during onsite installation and planning of VDSL/Wireless product launch.
