Facilitated Alaska Airlines' two diversity awareness programs. Managed the scheduling of diversity facilitators & training locations within the Seattle area and other Alaska Airlines cities outside Washington State. Conducted "Train the Trainer" sessions for new diversity facilitators and provided coaching and feedback for new facilitators. Wrote diversity related articles for Employee Services newsletter. Master Certified Diversity Trainer. Facilitated sexual harassment training for new hire pilots and flight attendants.
Coordinated hiring process for pilot positions and other Flight Operations Division positions as required, which included background checks, drug testing, etc. Conducted Phase I (one on one) interviews for pilot hiring process. Hired over 300 pilots. Processed monthly EEO report for pilot hiring. Established rapport, developed, and maintained strong relationships within the Flight Operations Division. Built and maintained strong relationships with recruiters at other airlines as well. Addressed audiences of 150-300 people on behalf of Alaska Airlines at pilot job fairs. Attended two conferences annually which promoted diversity in pilot hiring, including: Women in Aviation International and The Organization of Black Airline Pilots.
