Event Coordinating
Being in the President's Leadership Class has taught me how to coordinate various events on campus. With team help, I have helped coordinate Battle of the Bands, RSU's Got Talent, BCM LAN-Party, and several community service projects. Coordinating so many events has helped me sharpen my Public Relations skills, as booking rooms, fliers, social media, organization and recognition is a big part of coordinating a successful event.
Public Relations
I have had many opportunities to help write Public Relation plans for a few different organizations around the Tulsa/Claremore area. (View TheCrossing PR Plan).
Social Media
I have become more experienced with creating and managing several Social Media networks for several organizations at a time. I have created a Twitter account for RSU Admissions Team and the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. I help manage both of these social media sites on the back end of things. I am well versed in social media managing tools such as how to use analytics and TweetDeck.   I have recently started a blog for the RSU Recruitment team to use as a recruitment tool for incoming freshmen.
I am currently interning with the RSU Recruitment team. I have been on several recruitment sessions at various high schools, and continue to do so.   I have been recruiting for the President's Leadership Class on campus since 2009. As the Vice President of this organization, it has been part of my duty to recruit, select, and interview the upcoming classes.   As a part of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority on campus, it is my duty to recruit potential new members for the organization.

Cabin Counselor

Camp War Eagle

Camp War Eagle is a Christian Sports and Adventure camp for kids in Northwest Arkansas. In this summer position, I was assigned campers to watch over, stay with, guide and council for sessions as long as two-weeks at a time. This was a wonderful experience, but it takes a lot of patience, strength, and endurance both physically and mentally to do this rewarding job.
