Bethany Vader

Bethany Vader graduated from California State University Chico with her degree in child development. She has gained experience not only working with children, but also how to work with people of all ages. She has been a preschool teacher for the past three years and has volunteered over 200 hours in the classroom working with elementary age children. Bethany is skilled at public speaking and  building  personal relationships. She has gained much experience from working with staff, parents and children over the years and really enjoys working with people to achieve their best. She has experience with assessment, observation, and taking objective and accurate records. She can use a variety of different tools when in the classroom to assess children and to improve the environment. She has collaborated on numerous projects both in the classroom and in the work place. She has also developed leadership skills. She has been  in charge of several projects and has proved to be an effective leader. Bethany is also able to follow and learn from others. The child development program has helped her work reflection and how to make changes to move forward. Over time it has become clear to Bethany the valuable skills and insights that her education has brought her and how it has set her up for success in the future.

  • Observed and took notes on the children in a variety of areas to assess development.
