About Bernard Racey

Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Bernard Racey has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants since 1997. Bernard Racey currently serves as a surgical physician assistant with Christiana Care Health and the Delaware Neurosurgical Group.

Before earning his master of science as a physician assistant from Seton Hall University, where he also served as an adjunct professor of neuroanatomy, Bernie Racey was a research teaching specialist with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In this role, he conducted a range of research on topics such as neurodegenerative disease models.

Outside of the professional arena, Bernie Racey enjoys waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and sharing these activities with his family and friends. He also spends a great deal of time working on home renovation projects. He is particularly proud of his sons’ rooms, one of which revolves around a Star Wars theme and features large Millennium Falcon and Death Star murals.
