An avid enthusiast of science fiction novels and short stories, Ben Pu is a fan of classic and contemporary authors such as Greg Egan, Arthur C. Clarke, and Isaac Asimov. He's also a frequent viewer of Star Trek, citing The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager among his favorite re-creations of the series.
Ben Pu earned a degree in computer science in 2009 from Cornell University, where he helped second- and third-year students as a teaching assistant in two separate undergraduate courses. A skilled programmer and data analyst, Ben Pu is adept at taking apart and rebuilding PCs, and has a strong interest in reviewing innovative technology and computer hardware. In addition to supporting a number of technology-based nonprofits, he also regularly contributes to the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association.
In his leisure, Ben Pu enjoys listening to classical music and attending concerts at the New England Conservatory. He stays active by biking and playing ultimate frisbee.
