As part of a contract engineering team, was responsible for the development of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls drawings for Pharma/Biotech, Manufacturing, Upstream Oil/Gas, Refining, Pipelines and Power projects based on customer descriptions and parameters using AutoCAD 2008.

  • Created all electrical drawings and necessary details for the Opal project in Wyoming for Williams Energy.

  • Produced all drawings for PLC panels and electrical distribution panels on a variety of projects for for Resolute-Natural Resources.

  • Modified release drawings to as-built drawings for archiving as needed in support of completed customer projects.

  • Created PCB layout, Gerber files and panelization drawings for the “Hawkeye” project’s main video processing board, a twelve-layer board utilizing fine pitch and BGA components.

  • Developed layouts for multi-layer backplane cards for digital video multiplexer units.

  • Adapted thru-hole designs to surface mount technology resulting in lower manufacturing costs and simplified assembly.

  • Updated and revised schematics and PCB layout drawings originally developed with AutoCAD.

  • Assisted mechanical engineers as needed, developing 3D models, creating detail drawings, handling engineering change orders and correcting and dimensioning existing drawings.

  • Developed flex and rigid-flex circuits for use in security camera enclosures.
