As Director for Wells Fargo Securities, Benjamin Sielen is an experienced finance executive versed in trading high grade corporate bonds. Benjamin Sielen has served Wells Fargo for almost two decades, remaining with the company through its mergers and transitions. Wells Fargo Securities serves as the investment banking division of Wells Fargo & Company. Since 1995, Sielen has undergone multiple transformations with Wells Fargo, serving under companies such as Everen Securities, First Union Securities, and Wachovia Securities. With vast experience in bond trading, Ben Sielen's expertise lies in acquiring prudent investment market knowledge and implementing profitable trading and hedging strategies. Presently, Sielen's responsibilities as Director include presiding over high grade corporate debts, providing risk assessments, and developing models for risk management. He also assists the firm's Information Technology division in developing product capabilities for risk systems. Throughout his career, Ben Sielen has held numerous positions involving the selling and trading of bonds and investments. Starting as a Fixed Income Sales Assistant, he moved on to become a Convertible Bond Trader, followed by the Vice President of Corporate Bond Trading, and finally to his current role as Director. Benjamin Sielen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marquette University. An advocate of medical research and social awareness for people with disabilities, Sielen has lent his support to various Autism research organizations. In his free time, he is an avid golfer and maintains an interest in hockey from his days as an undergraduate sportsman.
