Benjamin Knott currently attends Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he is a student-athlete studying business administration and sport management. He expects to graduate from the University in 2015. A member of the Furman Club baseball team, he is hopeful that the team can exceed their performance from last year when they participated in the National Club Baseball Association Division II World Series tournament. Prior to enrolling at Furman, Benjamin Knott attended the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts from 2004 to 2009. At this institution, he was a member of the varsity baseball and football teams as well as the captain of the varsity ski team. As a junior and a senior, he earned distinction as an All-League Selection in skiing. In addition to playing sports year-round, Benjamin Knott spent 500 hours in 2010 volunteering as an Athletic Supervisor and Coach at the South Boston Club chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. In this role, he worked with children from the ages of 6 to 12 in order to oversee athletic activities and help with homework. Furthermore, while studying abroad as a junior in high school, Benjamin Knott traveled to The Bahamas where he started a recycling project with students at the Deep Creek Middle School. Since 2006, he has worked continuously over the summers for Twins Enterprises, Inc., serving as part of the retail staff for The Official Red Sox Team Store. As a skier for over 17 years, Benjamin Knott has won regional ski races in slalom and giant slalom competitions. He has also placed in many long drive golf contests. Benjamin Knott resides in Massachusetts.
