Benjamin Dalley is a Managing Partner of Xebec Enterprises LLC, a Washington DC business and real estate consulting firm specializing in business implementation consulting for small and start-up businesses, as well as and real estate projects, transactions, and property management. Benjamin Dalley assists and oversees the creation of a start-up investment funds and manages both commercial and residential real estate projects. Since founding the company in 2005, Mr. Dalley has seen numerous projects through to completion, including creating a start-up fund that raised over $8 million in funding. While running Xebec, also founded two high-volume restaurants and lounges in Washington, DC: District Lounge and Grille, and District Underground. Benjamin Dalley attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, studying economics and sociology, and earning his Bachelor of Arts with honors in 2003. He continued with graduate studies at Brown, receiving his MA in 2004, writing a thesis entitled Social Capital Theory and Real Estate Development in Harlem, NY. During his time at Brown, Mr. Dalley managed and led a 14-member team and chaired a campaign to raise philanthropic support of the school from the Class of 2003.While still in school, Benjamin Dalley entered the world of business as an active participant. In 2002, he was a Business Analyst Consultant for A.T. Kearney, Inc., in New York, NY, performing market data analysis and strategic sourcing. In 2002, he co-founded Spectrosity, Inc., serving as Business Director until 2004. The technology start-up brought educational tools and technologies to school science laboratories. Mr. Dalley initiated partnerships with a parent company and manufacturers, and built a business and financial infrastructure for the company.After receiving his MA, Benjamin Dalley accepted a position with the National Capital Revitalization Corporation in Washington, DC, working as a Project Manager for large-scale real estate development projects. During this period, he founded his present business, Xebec Enterprises LLC. In 2007, Mr. Dalley took on the role of Project Manager for the Deputy Mayor of Washington, DC’s, New Communities Initiative. Mr. Dalley also co-founded the nonprofit Bike to the Beach for Autism in 2007, and is now expanding the organization into other major coastal cities.
