Benjamin Carter Jr. is recognized for being a kind-hearted and generous person who has never found it beyond him to share with others. From his student days at the College of Charleston, Ben Carter Jr. has consistently shown a deep determination to succeed in his various endeavors. Presently, Mr. Carter has the franchise rights for Steak ‘n Shake in South Carolina territories along with one location in Eastern Georgia via his own firm, Carolina SNS, LLC. He put up Carolina SNS, LLC in 2012 and currently owns four Steak ‘n Shake restaurants, three in South Carolina and one in Eastern Georgia.
Benjamin Carter Jr. worked as the Vice President at Ben Carter Properties, a commercial real estate firm in Atlanta from 2005 to 2011. He enjoyed interfacing with many investors, brokers and developers to help clients enjoy compromise-free acquisitions and properties.
Mr. Benjamin Carter Jr. decided to chart a different course in his career by pursuing his own business. He enjoys hearing stories that his customers tell about the brand and their childhoods. He especially loves it when he is able to share similar stories with customers, since Ben himself grew up on Steak ‘n Shake. Now, he loves being able to contribute to the consistent growth of the iconic American brand.
When he is not at the office making vital business decisions, Benjamin Carter Jr. goes hunting. He has applied to work with the Canine Companion Atlanta as a volunteer, as he deeply loves Labradors and has even trained his own to hunt. Aside from that, he also loves travel, fishing, playing tennis and mountain biking.
Ben Carter Jr. flies helicopters. He studied Business Administration and graduated in 2005. Mr. Carter has pursued a high level of excellence in customer service and encourages his employees to strive for nothing less.
