A dedicated finance professional, Benedict Ntekor has devoted his career to industries in the technology and health care sectors. He presently works as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Evaluations and Treasury Department of Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a premier managed-health-care organization based in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. In this role, Ntekor conducts internal valuations of capital investment opportunities and conducts finance-related research on mergers, acquisitions, and hostile takeovers; evaluates return on investment and analyzes corporate financial competitiveness with comparable companies; manages the company’s pension benefits and savings plan; and issues relevant reports and recommendations to senior management. Since joining Medco in 2007, he has worked on a variety of the company’s mergers, including the recent acquisitions of DNA Direct, Inc., and United BioSource Corporation.Prior to accepting his current position, Benedict Ntekor worked as a Senior Portfolio Analyst for IBM Global Financing in its Armonk, New York, office. In this context, he assessed buyer behavior, IBM technology trends, and product pricing on behalf of executive management, while building and implementing assessment metrics for the pricing team, reviewing market information for different geographical locations, and working on worldwide pricing initiatives accordingly.Earlier in his career, Ntekor worked for IBM as an Information Technology Recovery Specialist and a Recovery Advisor, and he designed and implemented a range of systems to meet clients’ diverse needs in the event of a data center disaster. While employed in this capacity, Ntekor also directed the firm’s Service Delivery Visualization project, which enabled the automated installation and configuration of a client data center.Benedict Ntekor earned a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business with concentrations in Financial Instruments and Markets as well as Corporate Finance. Ntekor completed his undergraduate education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he received a Bachelor of Science in 1997.
