-Interact with residents in all aspects of their daily routines, help them meet treatment goals, and assist in managing their behavior.
-Observe behavior, interactions and individual needs of
adolescents within the house, reporting such observations to
appropriate staff as well as providing documentation.
-Participate in primary crisis prevention, and provide one-on-one counseling as directed by the Facility Manager, all the time
protecting the dignity, self-respect, rights, and individuality of each adolescent in care.
-Assist in planning and using recreation as a form of therapy, and dispense and log medication as directed, always providing for their physical safety, and assure safety procedures are followed.
