Arts Advocate and Social Community Manager

Successfully launched and managed a statewide grassroots arts advocacy campaign on Facebook ("Save the SC Arts Commission NOW!"), Twitter and e-mail to preserve $1.4M of funding that had been vetoed by the governor. Provided tools and motivation to constituents that enabled them to contact legislators directly. Also served as the primary community manager for two other social media leaders. Attracted 9000 Facebook advocates in four days and 14,000 in one week. Conducted media interviews that appeared in print and electronic media formats.

Assisted Third Party Contracts Manager from March 2006 and was recruited for the Third Party Contracts Manager position in September 2007. Ahold USA’s IT environment consisted of five grocery store chains utilizing three data centers, three distribution facilities, 900 grocery stores and a food service distribution subsidiary. • Managed all client-owned hardware, software and Information Technology (IT) leases and services - plus EDS agreements - supporting three data centers, three distribution facilities, 900 grocery stores and a food service distribution subsidiary.  • Collaborated with operations managers, project managers and vendors on lease refresh scheduling and proper equipment returns to comply with existing lease agreements, working with refresh projects and operational budgets ranging from $7M to $10M.  • Repeatedly recruited for additional duties, including: monthly procurement accruals capture for financial analysts’ month-end reports; capital funds forecasting, request preparation & defense; and software/hardware maintenance client delivery requiring interaction with client, vendor, Program Management Office, and supply chain personnel. Introduced maintenance-need review process.

Served as liaison to adidas Global IT Purchasing in Germany and enterprise account manager of contracted suppliers. Converted strategic goals for implementation at the subsidiary level. Procured equipment for one data center, 200 retail stores, corporate and remote territory sales personnel. • Managed IT procurement process, including hands-on manual purchase order generation, plus online order placement for end-user, store and data center equipment and software. Maintained e-commerce and Olympic domain repositories for adidas America, adidas Canada and Salomon North America. Negotiated and reviewed telecom contracts to preserve low cost-per-minute rates. Interpreted contract language prior to internal legal review.
