Planning, teaching and assessing a KS1 class of 30 pupils using British National Curriculum, Development Matters document as well as National Strategies in order to create confident and independent learners. Differentiation of tasks, group work and individual support of pupils depending on their needs. Liaising with other teachers, Senior Leadership, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, occupational therapist, psychologist, pediatrician, Speech & Language specialist and parents on daily and weekly basis. Managing adults in my classroom and support groups taking place throughout the day. Used positive behaviour management techniques and varied methods of teaching catering for every pupil's learning style. Preparing presentations on teaching Phonics and learning through play to parents and carers. Report writing and holding parents' meetings. Safeguarding children in my care. The school received 'Outstanding' grade by Ofsted ( teachers no longer receive individual grades) in every category in January 2015, including the children's progress in KS1. Left this position in order to relocate to Spain.

Observations graded 'Outstanding' by the head teacher and Ofsted during an inspection in January 2014.

Volunteer Coach

Coaching and mentoring children with a wide range of physical difficulties and special educational needs by engaging with them in a variety of one to one activities indoors and outdoors.
