Dayton Youth Radio

Serve as lead instructor and trainer at area high schools to empower teenagers with the tools of digital storytelling. Manage a 100% success rate with all 22 students completing the course.  Wrote and designed syllabus that teaches hands-on field recording, writing for radio and audio editing techniques. Inspire students with self confidence and problem-solving skills through 8-week experience that culminates with the on-air  broadcast of Dayton Youth Radio radio/web stories.

WYSO FM 91.3 "Behind the Groove"

Produce weekly music show specializing in Soul, R&B and Funk classics from 1960's to modern contemporary hits. Provide research on music  trend demographics and historical background of genre to share with audience. Conduct on-air studio board operation procedures per FCC requirements to coordinate national satellite feeds on schedule.

ReInvention Stories

Oversaw schedules, planning and  completion of 11 multiplatform radio, film and internet documentaries. Facilitated staff meetings with award winning team of producers. Represented the ReInvention Stories project by giving PowerPoint lectures at local libraries and community centers. Provided training and tech support for each filmmaker as needed. Delivered the final presentation on time as promised to Executive Producers per grant proposal guidelines.

Introduced wide variety of teaching methods utilizing multimedia and hands-on training.
