Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Bart Presti has been committed to staying abreast of the developments in his field. Dr. Presti received his undergraduate degree from East Texas State University where he distinguished himself as a member of national honor societies Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta. After graduating in 1983 with his Bachelor of Science, Dr. Bart Presti went on to enroll in Baylor College of Dentistry at The Texas A&M University. There, he continued his record of academic excellence, undertaking independent research on the topic of oral bacterium streptococcus mutans and its relationship to smokeless tobacco. This research earned Dr. Presti the status of First Place Institutional Winner at the Dallas Mid-Winter Dental Convention. He also presented his research before members of the International Association for Dental Research in 1984.Dr. Bart Presti received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1987 and opened his private practice in McKinney, Texas, in the same year. Since that time, he has maintained his commitment to continuing education, holding active memberships in the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. In 2003, Dr. Presti earned the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry, and in 2007, he was awarded Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry, the highest status offered by the organization. As a dentist with a private practice, Dr. Bart Presti combines his knowledge of the latest technological advances in his field with a dedication to patient care. His practice has been known to offer individualized care in a friendly environment, thereby building lasting relationships with patients.
