Barry Grummer

As president of K Restoration & Roofing Corp. (KR&R), Barry Grummer draws on more than 40 years of experience in contracting. He founded his first company as a high school student and continued to lead its operations until his college graduation, during which time he performed a variety of functions, including painting and small-scale restoration. After receiving his bachelor's degree, Barry Grummer became a mechanic assistant with Kay Waterproofing.

Steadily advancing through roles of increasing responsibility, Barry Grummer became a project manager and ultimately partner of Kay Waterproofing. For the next 16 years, he leveraged his leadership role to expand the company's scope and success. He then became president of KR&R, where he expanded waterproofing services to include facade restoration and masonry services. He now oversees approximately 25 active projects and an annual revenue stream of $15 million.

A graduate of the construction management certificate program at New York University, Mr. Grummer also draws on a bachelor's degree in business and a number of courses completed through the RESTORE architectural education program.
