Entered the business world after graduating from Central Washington University in 1988.

Spent the last 25 years climbing the corporate ladder in everything from general office to project management to computer education in a wide variety of organizations including small business, world-wide corporations, healthcare and government.

Went back to school graduating with an MBA in IT Management in 2009.

Maximize value received from vendors by leveraging volume and relationships. Streamline the process for the entire lifecycle including selection of the vendor, processing contracts and orders, receiving and deployment, inventory, and disposal of technology assets.

Chair of the DIS VAT (Division of Information Systems Value Analysis Team), responsible for technology savings initiatives within the department and across campus.

Project Manager - Senior

Project owner for LANDesk implementation of ITSM processes including Knowledge Management, Request Fulfillment, Service Catalog, Self Service, Service Level Management, and process improvement. Identify and implement appropriate improvements, measurements, and training opportunities for IT Service Desk. Specialized in large project gap analysis and problem solving.

2012 - 2013

Identify overall major milestones of a multi-project EPIC implementation; identify gaps; ensure appropriate communications between teams; provide expertise and consultation among all teams.

Senior Documentation Specialist

Created Telecommunications Service Catalog to describe services available and provide request fulfillment.

Edited and approved DIS communications to the campus.

Answered computer questions and helped solve user problems via phone and email.

Supported a wide variety of software and hardware issues. Some of the systems supported include Windows 98, NT, Novell, GroupWise and SMS. Supported Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Developed and maintained the Help Desk webpage http://helpdesk.umc.edu, including a daily System Status Update page. HTML programming.

Created a documentation page so that Help Desk Analysts could access current information from one location.

Member of the P.I. Team for process improvement. Suggested and managed projects and solutions for departmental issues.

Advised management in the daily operations of a 7-person HelpDesk including staffing, performance and scheduling issues.
