• Recommended substance abuse treatment and alcohol monitoring of defendants based on assessments
• Communicated effectively with judges, attorneys, probation officers, families, and others as needed regarding defendants
• Interviewed defendants inside the Fairfax County Jail
• Worked with various populations including offenders to ensure wrap around benefits were received
• Referred clients to various resources and assisted in obtaining mainstream benefits including housing
• Developed service and treatment plans to assist clients in becoming self-sufficient and counseled residents
