Key Business/Management Control:
Handling newly established companies and projects, setting up of business controls and systems, acting as principle co-ordination point for foreign investors and shareholders.
Handling clients as Company’s spokesperson including HNW individuals, VVIPs and Royalties.
Negotiating and soliciting clients as part of business development team and giving presentation in Power Point to overseas clients for business promotion.
Identification of problematic projects, jobs, contracts and campaigns and suggesting areas of improvement in monthly management meetings.
Suggesting and improving systems and business models including company structure, suggesting IT models and process improvements and accounting systems improvements.
Preparation & presenting to BOD Strategic business plans and forecasts.
Handling Business Units/Areas with overall directives from Board of Directors, finding out bottlenecks and suggesting remedies and implementing them.
Accounts , Payroll and Taxation :
Forecasting sales and profitability based on budgets and analyzing progress of the business.
Overall responsibility for accounts preparation, analysis of the performance of the company , reporting of monthly performance to the management, finalization and audit.
Determining credit policy jointly with marketing team for control over Debtors and monitoring of dues and overdues and ensuring routine follow-ups.
Communicating with business chambers and industrial bodies for disputes settlement.
Handling Branch/ inter-company accounting and consolidation.
Developing salary & growth structures for employees.
Handling company taxation both direct and indirect and handling tax audits, personal taxations and investments.
Conducting seminars and training programs for workmen and managers for cost control, reduction in wastages, etc and conducting knowledge sharing training program in finance & accounts.
Finance and Banking:
Dealing with Banks and financial institutions for credit application and finance requirement, preparation of CMA , working capital loans , term loans ,handling ECBs and reporting for ECBS to RBI, application for bill discounting ,negotiation , etc.
Meeting Fund Managers, Merger Acquisition Firms & VCs for investment.
Costing , MIS & IT:
Job costing, product costing , Batch costing, variance analysis, project costing ,analysis & management, Cost benefit analysis, new project analysis, etc.
Manufacturing KPIs and forecasting Key input requirements.
Preparation, development, improvement and analysis of various MIS reports and MIS system.
Implemented SAP (FI/CO & SD) and MS NAVISION.
Legal and Commercial:
Company registration, conducting Board/General meeting, filing of ROC/RBI forms, STPI reporting, ECB & other RBI forms and reports, Minutes and other statutory registrations including factory , IT, VAT, Excise ,EXIM ,CST, Municipality, Fire and Safety registrations.
Negotiating with suppliers and contractors for tenders and quotations and AMCs.
Preparing, analyzing and amending business contracts.
Determining all insurance requirement and negotiation with insurers & establishing policies.
Handling customs, excise, factory, fire,Government and municipality inspectors.
As part of TQM team, handling quality issues and ISO procedures.
Stock Control & stock analysis of slow moving & dead stocks as well as stock aging for inventory provisions , implementing inventory procedures, handling shipping ,forwarding and clearing agents, etc.
Looking after legal compliance, RBI guidelines, companies law, setting up salary structure and accounting and control manuals.
