As a Store Manager I was responsible for overall store operations. This particular location grew from an average of $22,00 per week in sales to $25,000 per week in the time I was there. This was done thru leading various local marketing tactics within the local community. I was responsible for recruiting and hiring exceptional barista's as well as motivating, coaching and teaching. Also had the added responsibility of performance management and seperation of Team Members if needed.

Along with that there were inventory control responsibilities, schedule writing, leading and delegating tasks and the placement of orders. This does not include the many other facets of operating a successful business.

Working with Outback Steakhouse I learned many different management techniques and held many different positions within the Company. I began as a Dishwasher in 1993 and quickly proved my value. Through hard work and determination became an Assistant Kitchen Manager within 9 months. I then became a Certified Corporate Trainer and helped to open several new stores in different parts of the country. I then was given an opportunity to open a new store in West Virginia were in less than a year was fully trained in the Front of the House and promoted to Kitchen Manager. I then moved to Eden Prairie, Mn as a Kitchen then promoted 3 months later holding a dual role as Front of the House Manager and Special Events Coordinator.  These positions all require leadership qualities as well as good orginizational skills and communication techniques.
