I am a highly accomplished senior leader with extensive experience championing sales and business growth. I’ve helped launched several new products, as well as new companies in international markets. My success is a result of the passion and energy I bring to the workplace and the expertise I have in marketing, strategic planning, and business development. I am not afraid to put myself out there and take on challenging assignments. This unique combination of a multi-disciplinary skill set, leadership, and superior business acumen has been honed through a dynamic career at The Hartford, a Fortune 100 company and a leading provider of investments and insurance. In my current role, I manage the marketing function for The Hartford’s Institutional Solutions Group (ISG), which includes products such as income annuities, institutional mutual funds, private placement life insurance, pension risk solutions, and structured settlements. ISG markets and distributes these investment and insurance products to Fortune 1000 companies. In addition, income annuities are sold through financial advisors. I am charged with creating all client, intermediary, and sales communications, as well as internal ISG employee communications. My extensive marketing experience is enhanced through years of experience in strategic planning and market development. I led the strategic planning efforts for The Hartford’s life company for several years. I’ve also been part of two international start-up operations, playing a key leadership role in launching life insurance companies in Japan and in the United Kingdom. These efforts provided me with a deep understanding of market and business development. Lastly, in my role as Chief of Staff to the President of The Hartford’s life company, I served as a strategic advisor to the President on a broad array of company matters. This afforded me the opportunity to work very closely with senior company leaders on strategic and operational matters, and cultivate productive relationships throughout all levels of the company. I am well versed in negotiating with and being able to influence senior leaders and executive management all the way up to the President, COO, CFO and CEO level. I am driven to constantly improve myself personally and professionally. To that end, I have an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. I also have several professional designations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC). I also hold NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses. In short, I am a results-oriented, decisive leader with extensive knowledge of the financial services industry.
